i think its pretty fair to compare the GTI to the WRX since they have the other siblings to compare to one another (talkin abt the R32 & STi). i'm for the GTI. personally based on experience, i think its an easier car to handle. i do agree that maybe she didnt follow the axle of the track whatsoever but you have to consider about how the car handles the track. different cars handle situations differently.

I know that but they were talking about the sti which can not be compared with the gti. Also, VW reliability increased by much with the 2007 and up models. Btw the gti is still heavier than an wrx.

also, what you arent taking into consideration, likely because you dont know it, is that 30hp more, in an AWD vehicle, when compared to 30hp less in aFWD vehicle, will be more like 5-10hp is that. The AWD drivetrain sucks up most of the difference. Not to mention the weight of the AWD drivetrain. Lets not even talk about VWs reliability track record for the past 15 years or so lol. I was a die hard VW guy, but they have gone to shit in the past 2 decades.

i wuldnt trust the results of her driving, it looked like she wasnt hitting apexes or taking the best lines. she probably drovve both cars the same, even though each has different handling characteristics.

I know that, I watched the vid and I saw that the GTI is faster but all of you are talking about the STI what the hell ? The STI has 300HP and cost like 10k more I wish the STI is faster. Also, the GTI has 30HP less yet it's faster so the best choice is clearly the GTI.

Are you kidding me ? The GTI is 200HP while the STI is 300HP I wish the STI is faster HAHA it has 100HP more. Type R sucks, stupid fan boy.
