I bought this one one week ago, i'm very glad of this choice. It's working very nice, quiet and easy. Very comfortable car.

monk3yboy69:> It is because I have driven many cars in my life, that I am able to make such a statementSo these had to be something even worse than this underpowered clatterbox. Previous Passats TDI maybe?Sorry mate, but if you ever drove anything that: has some power, over 200HP, maybe more; is not FWD but RWD or AWD with rear bias; is front light not heavy (precise steering feel); doesn't clatter like TDI unit pump..then you would NEVER call Passat TDI "a pleasure to drive"

It is because I have driven many cars in my life, that I am able to make such a statement. How can you sit there and make an assumption about a person just from one statement? Try not to be so ignorant in the future!

monk3yboy69:> I have a 1.9TDi Passat 103PS. She is a pleasure to drive.Only someone who has never ever driver a real car with a fair bit of power can claim a 103 HP 1500 kg diesel clatterbox can be "a pleasure to drive".

I've driven 4000km in two months now and I'm very satisfied with this car (I've the station wagon). Fuel consumption average at 5L/100km. cruising at motorway speed (90-120km/h it varies between 4.0-4.7L/10km. I think that's ok for a 1600KG car.

I have a 1.9TDi Passat 103PS. She is a pleasure to drive. 6 months old now. Done 26000 miles so far. She handle well, light on diesel, wonderful on the motorway. You will not be disappointed
